AP RedTo work or not to work

Sorry to anyone that might have been reading this blog regularly. I quit my job in August. I worked in the finance sector and didn't like how things were being managed at my firm. The things that went into the recent financial crisis were some of the things I tried to fight against.
Anyway, I signed a contract as mid-level management about a year ago. In that contract,my company had the option to pay out my contract and keep me out of the industry for 5 years from signing if I ever left. They excercised that right and I can't get into any econ/banking/major sales type of fields for the next 3 years. I officially declined a buyout that would have paid 10 cents on the dollar 2 weeks ago.
Herein lies the problem. I spent the last week plus officially testing out a life of relative leisure. Went to a movie in the middle of a weekday, played video games till my eyes hurt, read comics, fiddled around with the IPhone et all. And I've come to the realization that this kind of life is unfulfilling for me.
Stuck in a Catch-22. I can't work in finance/accounting/marketing even as a teller or CSR. Can't go back to school because while my compensation is very good, it isn't exactly the kind of money you can blow 10k of every year and keep an apartment/decent car/etc in the Metro Area. Not a manual labor type of guy. Not a teacher/tutor type.
So its work at a Besy Buy, Target, or mall type of thing or lead a life where I just sit there for most of my days indulging.
To work or not to work. Thought writing that out would clear my head and help but it didn't. Oh well.
